Founding Owners, Carrie Mullins and Sara Tanner developed their vision for Firenze Wealth Management on a trip to the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence, Italy. The concepts of combining math, art, science, literature and physical health provided the backdrop of creating an entirely independent and holistic financial services firm. Carrie Mullins is an experienced and knowledgeable financial advisor, ready to work with you to ensure you and your family’s financial future. After 24 years working with a Wall Street-based firm and a continued desire to bring a focused culture of service to her clients, Carrie and her long-time business associate, Sara Tanner, made the decision to start their own financial services firm, Firenze Wealth Management. As a financial planner, Carrie’s main goal is to help you make well-informed decisions on what types of investments are right for you in order to pursue your desired plans for the future. She also emphasizes the need to adjust investment plans as your goals and needs change. Carrie has worked with hundreds of clients, helping them to develop personalized strategies they can use to attain their financial goals. Her successful career is the result of hard work and an unwavering commitment to delivering quality service to all her clients. Carrie will always listen to your concerns and treat your financial goals with the same care and interest that she devotes to her own.
Carrie and her high school sweetheart, Dane, have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of three teenage sons. She is dedicated to the needs of her clients, but also placing a priority on taking care of the needs of her family. Helping families like hers work toward their financial dreams is one of her favorite aspects of her career. Carrie is also passionate about giving back to her community. She has served on the board of the Sherwood Education Foundation for the last five years and has found it incredibly rewarding to help enrich the quality of education in the Sherwood School District, through the fundraising efforts of the SEF.

With 26 years in the Financial Services Industry, Sara Tanner is an experienced and knowledgeable financial advisor, ready to address your individual needs, goals and dreams. Sara grew up on a dairy farm in Brownsmead, Oregon where she learned the values of hard work, integrity and perseverance from her immigrant father and native Oregonian mother. Sara’s parents left an indelible mark on her as to the value of all people, the power of finding the positive and the endurance that leads us through difficult times. With this foundation of both steadfastness and ingenuity in volatile times, Sara and her business partner, Carrie Mullins, have launched Firenze Wealth Management to provide truly independent financial care and guidance to their clients.
Having relationships with over 1,200 households and businesses has given Sara the expertise on how to address changing needs over one’s lifetime. Working with multiple generations of her client’s families, she has learned to address and manage your needs from beginning to end, in addition to planning for estate transfer. Working in conjunction with your other financial and estate planning professionals, such as your CPA and Attorney, Sara can help you craft a plan for the life abundant, for yourself and generations to come. The holistic method of planning includes all aspects of your financial life.
Believing strongly in community building, Sara has served for over 20 years on the Knappa Schools Foundation Board. It is this passion for helping others that continues to drive both her professional and personal goals. She and her husband, Brent both enjoy being a part of something greater. Brent has coached their children in all of their sporting endeavors, in addition to serving on Boards to make teams sports available for all kids. Their children, Jacquelyn and Jake, keep them busy, engaged and hopeful for the future. As a family, they love to travel the world to explore old roots and discover new ones.

Sierra graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Psychology, planning to go into counseling as she wanted the opportunity to make an impactful difference in people's lives. She has an extensive background creating advanced retirement plans, specifically those involving PERS and FERS retirement. She thrives from solving complicated cases and has a genuine desire to make sure no stone is left unturned. She enjoys hosting different educational seminars, including topics on Medicare, Social Security, Creating Distribution Plans, and Tax Planning in retirement. She holds her Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registrations through LPL Financial, and is licensed to sell life, health and long-term care insurance.
Originally from Bend, Oregon, Sierra now lives in the heart of the Pearl District in Portland. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, exploring the Pacific North West. She also loves to travel and like most Bendites, enjoys hiking, boating and spending time outdoors.

Overcoming life’s curveballs in a solution-focused approach is Kalin’s specialty. She thrives on educating clients to eliminate fears around money, budgeting and investing. She wants her clients to feel confident and excited about the financial future they are developing, rather than apprehensive or discouraged. She helps clients actualize the future they dream of for themselves and their families.
Kalin graduated from Lewis and Clark College with an Economics degree and a personal focus toward improving financial literacy in our nation. That passion has translated into educational workshops throughout Oregon on topics such as Retirement Planning, PERS, Social Security and Medicare. Kalin has worked extensively with PERS retirees, as well as local small business owners, but she is certainly open to assisting anyone who wants to take charge of their finances. She holds her Series 6 and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed to sell life insurance.
Growing up in the Portland Area, Kalin has always enjoyed adventuring throughout the Northwest with her family and friends. Outside of working with clients, she can be found coaching young athletes, playing sports and spending time outdoors. Kalin also loves sharing new experiences and her passion of traveling abroad with loved ones.

Steven Mahoney started his career in the Financial Services Industry in 2006. He has worked with Carrie Mullins since 2011. Steven enjoys working for the Firenze Wealth Management team to help clients invest and save for their future. Steven and his wife have two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching baseball.

Ellie went to George Fox University, where she received a degree in History. She is originally from Seattle, Washington. She has a passion for helping people, going wine tasting in the Willamette Valley with friends, and crocheting on the weekends while watching a good movie.
